From the list of NOMINATED SIRES, click on a particular sire's name to go to the bid page, which also displays more detailed information.

MAXIMUM BID
A MAXIMUM BID helps to avoid being outbid at the last moment. If another user places a bid on the same auction, automatic bids will be placed on your behalf up to your maximum bid. You will pay the lowest possible price but still have control of the auction until someone else places a bid at least $50 higher than your MAXIMUM.

To bid on a stud service, you have 3 choices:
1. Enter your actual bid amount in the box above the item description and click the 'SUBMIT' button. Your bid amount must be equal to or greater than the 'Minimum bid' that is shown.
2. Enter your Maximum Bid and click the 'SUBMIT' button. If you already have the winning bid, only your Maximum will be updated, otherwise your actual bid will be automatically set to the Minimum Bid amount. If another user places a bid on the same auction, automatic bids will be placed on your behalf up to your Maximum Bid.
or 3. Enter both an actual bid amount and a Maximum Bid. In this case your actual bid amount will be recorded as the current bid and the Maximum amount will stay on file to be used if someone else bids against you.

You will be asked to confirm your bid. Your bid must be greater than or equal to the Minimum Bid amount specified in the box.
DO NOT enter the dollar sign - numbers only.
