The CNASF Futurity April 17-18, 2010
ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT TO ENTER YOUR FUTURITY ELIGIBLE ALPACAS.
On-line
entry forms
are available on the website. If you
are entering more than 2 alpacas in the Futurity, use
FORM A for the first 2 and then complete FORM B (which has room for 4 entries) as many
times as needed.
Entry fee is $100 per
alpaca. On-line payment is NOT available, so once
you have entered your alpacas on-line, you need to
mail your cheque and fibre samples to us. Copies of registration papers are NOT required. Entry and payment deadline is
March 19.
Remember it is only the juvenile & yearling offspring of Subscribed Studs that are eligible for the futurity. This is your chance to compete for your share of the $70,000 prize pool.

Please note: All alpacas entered in the futurity MUST have their CLAA registration complete by Show date.

Seminars & Meals
The schedule of events for the Futurity Weekend is up on the website. Two very informative seminars are being offered at no cost:
Alpaca Transportation & Premise Identification Adrienne Waller is with Livestock Identification Services. Find out what documentation is required for transporting alpacas. Llamas & Alpacas are governed by the Bill of Lading and Conditions of Carriage Regulation under the Traffic Safety Act. Adrienne is also an expert on the Animal Pedigree Act and will answer questions regarding the APA.
CLAA Fibre Committee Update The Fibre Committee wil give an update on their discussions and information received from Gov't of Alberta consultants. There will also be an update on the CLAA Sock Project.
On-line registration for seminars and meals will be available March 15.
