IOLANTHE represents our very best example of this fleece type from our 2008 cria crop, undoubtedly helped by the presence of JOLIMONT PERUVIAN ALPAMAYO as her grandsire. She hit the show circuit in 2009 with great success- first in her class at CNASF and second at both Pacific Coast Alpaca show and Salmon Arm Fall fair composite show. She will also be entered in the 2010 CNASF - and she has lost very little of the qualities we admired as a cria. IOLANTHE's granddam is perhaps our farms best producer and her dam, IVEY has garnered great results in fleece shows. Her sire, ARTIC ICE needs little introduction.
