CNASF STUD SERVICE AUCTION - November, 2010

The 10th Annual CNASF Stud Service Auction of nominated Sires will take place in November 2010.
Bidding closes 9pm MST November 30.

Other features include the maximum bid feature, real-time updating of bids, automatic notification if you are out-bid and a history of all bids on each stud. Before the auction begins, you can browse through all the Nominated Sires, and then on November 1 bidding will be activated. You will be required to Register with a Farm Name and Password before your bids will be accepted.
This year the auction will again have 4 groups of studs, with 4 different closing times:  8:15, 8:30, 8:45 and 9:00pm MST.

Proceeds of the auction will go towards prize money for the Canadian National Alpaca Futurity (Red Deer, AB - April 16-17, 2011). We hope to surpass last year's proceeds of over $77,000!!

Payment will be required at the close of bidding.
CNASF does not endorse or guarantee any of the Stud Services offered herein. Once the purchaser has received conformation of their purchase of a Stud Service, CNASF is absolved of any responsibility in the breeding. All further arrangements must be between the buyer and the donor of the service.
NOTE:These Stud services are for the 2011 breeding season and are only available to female alpacas that are resident in Canada.

Bids start at $500, however a minimum final bid of $1000 must be made in order for the stud to be subscribed to the futurity. If the minimum final bid of $1000 is not reached the stud owner is not required to supply a breeding for that price and no payment will be made by the bidder to the CNASF.
Also, if the minimum bid is not received, the Stud owner can make the minimum bid themselves in order to subscribe their stud.

** There must be a minimum of 3 Suri Studs that are nominated and receive the minimum $1000 bid or Suri bids will not be collected and stud services will not be supplied. There will also be no Suri classes at the 2011 Futurity unless this minimum is reached.
Only juvenile & yearling offspring of subscribed Studs (i.e.offspring born between April 18, 2009 and Nov 15, 2010) are eligible for the futurity.

** All  cria resulting from the breedings purchased in the auction are eligible for the futurity as juveniles even if the studs are not nominated the following year.
Subscribed Stud owners will receive one complimentary display stall at the Futurity.

Last year 58 farms donated stud services.
